This vintage necktie has an attractive finish in that it "shimmers" - this can't be seen in my photos, but in person it is quite striking. Color is dark and lighter shades of gray. Length: 60 inches; width at widest point: 3 7/8 inches. Based in New York, N.Y., Van Heusen has been known for their high quality, premium clothing since 1881. Inside tag reads, "Made in Korea / Imported 100% Silk". Based on this mark, the tie was made in the early 1940's. In very good condition. This would be perfect for a big and/or tall gentleman.
