Art Nouveau Jewelry Casket Embossed Pinecones Footed Box Cottage Shabby C. 1910

This Art Nouveau jewelry casket is decorated with embossed pinecones, leaves, and swirls. It is a matte gold metal with a very desirable patina. There is slight wear appropriate for it's age. The box has four splayed feet, and is marked '96' on it's bottom. The hinge is in excellent condition. There is no lining (see "Note" below). Dimensions: 4½ inches (11.4 cm) high, 4 inches (10.2 cm) deep, and 6 inches (15.3 cm) long. This casket is circa 1900-1910 and would be an outstanding classic and/or 'shabby' addition to your (her) boudoir! (#80362-CO)

NOTE: I will add a padded silk lining to this box for an additional $20.00. Please let me know what color silk and then give me an additional 3 days for shipping. I am an experienced sewer.
