Hall China Baking Dish Blue n Pearl Luster Covered Casserole w/ Chrome Caddy

This covered casserole dish was made by the Hall China Company. The baking dish is a lovely blue with pearl luster and black trim. Diameter is 8¼ inches (21 cm); height with lid: 4¾ inches (12.1 cm). Comes with a decorative chrome-plated caddy. I've dated the dish to 1935 based on the mark and the use of the luster glaze. Backstamp reads: HALL (in a circle) and "Made exclusively for Forman Bros. Inc./ by the Hall China Co./ Hand decorated/ DEC 710". Condition: There are some tiny scratches on the outside of the dish, mostly near the base, but also a few on the lid. The inside of the dish has wear on the rim where the lid touches. Also, one chrome handle has wear, and one side of one handle has separated from the caddy (needs a bit of solder). This damage is reflected in the price. Otherwise, this piece is in very good vintage condition and would look great in a retro or modern kitchen/dining room. (#2894-CC)
